GOKU: Goku is the first introduced character in the DB Series.Goku is a Saiyan that was sent to earth to destroy it but instead his foster grandfather, Gohan, found him and taught him Martial Arts.Goku became good and pure hearted.Later in DBZ Goku finds out he is 1 of the only 4 saiyans who survived the destruction of their home planet, Planet Vegeta.Later on Goku has 2 kids.Their names are Gohan and Goten.At the beggining of the DBZ series he finds out his real name is Kakarot.
GOHAN: Gohan is the first child of Goku and Chi-Chi.Gohan is half human and half saiyan.Chi-Chi makes him study but Raditz, Goku's Evil Brother, kidnaps Gohan during the Saiyan Saga.When Goku sacrificed his own life to kill Raditz, Gohan was freed and Piccolo started to train him so he can fight Vegeta and Nappa, the other 2 saiyans.In the Cell Saga Gohan also kills Cell.
GOTEN: Goten is the 2nd child of Chi-Chi and Goku.Goten is not in the DBZ Series until later on.
CHI-CHI: Chi-Chi is introduced in the DB series and thats when she meets Goku.Goku had promised to marry her so when they got older they married.
OX-KING: The Ox-King is Chi-Chi's father.Hes not mentioned that much throughout the DBZ Series.
VEGETA: Vegeta is yet another one of the remaining saiyans.He is evil in the beggining but he kind of turns good later on.He's jelous of Goku's superior fighting abilities.Vegeta gets together with Bulma and has a kid.The kids name is Trunks.
BULMA: Bulma was introduced in the DB series.She was the second introduced.She was also the 1st girl Goku had ever seen.Bulma goes with Goku so she can get the 7 DB's and she thinks that Goku will be a great body guard.
TRUNKS: Trunks isn't mentioned much until the Cell Saga when he is then called Future Trunks.Future Trunks comes and warns the Z Fighters about Cell.He also helps to fight Cell.
RADITZ: He shows up at the beggining of the DBZ series and tells Goku he is his brother.Goku and Piccolo kill him but Goku sacrificed his own life.
NAPPA: One of the last remaining saiyans Nappa is really strong in the beggining.After Raditz is killed Nappa and his accomplice Vegeta travel to earth to fight.
PICCOLO: Piccolo is a namek that was supposed to be good but when he was a child he saw wars and fighting so he became a Villian.In the Saiyan saga he became good to help Goku defeat the Saiyans.
KING-KAI: King-Kai trained Goku during the Saiyan Saga.
CELL: Cell is a creation made by Dr. Gero.Cell wants to absorb Android 16 and 17 to become perfect.
KRILLIN: Introduced when Goku goes to Master Roshi's island to train.Krillin at first is Goku's enemy but as they grow they become the best of friends.
MASTER ROSHI: Master Roshi is the Second Teacher of Goku and the first of Krillin.Master Roshi trains under the Turtle Hermit way.Master Roshi gave Goku his Nimbus Cloud.Master Roshi is also the one who taught his students the Kamehameha Attack.
